I’ve bought a lot of cars in the 30+ years I’ve been driving, but working with Roberto at Summit Automotive was the single best experience I have ever had buying a car by a long shot! I would give him and this dealership 10 stars if I could! I live in Colorado and had been keeping my eye out for a great price on a used BMW i3 for over a year. Summit put a high-mileage i3 up for sale at one of the lowest prices I had seen anywhere. I called to ask about it, and Roberto was incredibly helpful over the phone and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about the car and its background, and he patiently answered my plethora of questions. I did more research and followed up with more questions a couple of days later. Roberto answered all of them, even the few that he had to look into and get back to me about. We did a video call and he walked me through the entire car. He was quick to point out all of the small cosmetic issues to make sure I was aware of them, and was very thorough showing me the entire car (he showed me the tread on each tire, as he knew I was going to have to drive the car 600 miles to get home). I also sent Roberto a link to a video that shows how to access a “secret menu” in the car to check the battery’s state of health, and he jumped right on checking it for me and showing me the value (and the battery was in great condition!). The small cover on the bumper covering the socket for the tow hook was also missing, and Roberto said he’d see if he could find it for me (and when he couldn’t find it, he ended up ordering me a replacement). He also took some followup photos and texted them to me after the call. I would not have taken a chance on buying a plane ticket, flying to another city, purchasing a high-mileage car (especially an EV), and driving it 600 miles home if it weren’t for the great experience I had with Roberto. It was once I got there though that Roberto’s kindness and professionalism was on full display. The i3 is a quirky little car, especially the version with the Range Extender (REx) engine like the one I was buying. I spent several hours fiddling with the car. Roberto never pressured me and let me spend as much time with the car as I wanted. When I was finally ready to take it for a drive, he let me take it to a fast charging station almost 10 miles away to make sure I the DCFC functionality on the car was working. Then when I couldn’t get the range extender engine to come on in emissions mode (most likely because it hadn’t been used for a while), he told me it was fine to drive the car another 30+ miles to force the engine to come on. It was a stressful afternoon for me (especially knowing I needed to get on the road to start driving back to Colorado since there was a storm coming in soon), but where most salespeople would have added to that stress, Roberto did everything he could to relieve it. After I was fully convinced the car was in great shape and roadworthy enough to get me the 600 miles home across the high passes of I-70, Roberto had all of the paperwork ready and organized for me and got me on the road right away. He gave me copies of all the paperwork, put a temp plate in the back window, and even took the time to scrape off the tape from the sales materials in the front window before I took off. The dealership probably made a very minimal profit on this car (it really was a fantastic price), and yet Roberto invested several hours over the course of several days helping me have an amazing experience. Thank you, Roberto! You are a mensch among men!!

After hours and hours of our painstaking search for a new car for my mom, she and I happened upon Summit Automotive Group in North Salt Lake. They had a beautiful little CRV that was exactly what my mom was looking for.
